How do i change my Family Xbox Live Gold Package back to a Normal single Gold account again???

I upgrade my Gold Account beginning of the year to Family Gold Package only reason for my Wife xbox live account for she can use the MSN messager kinect video feature on xbox 360 but she never uses it. She's using the laptop & skype . I was just wondering how do i change my account back to a Normal single Xbox Live Gold account? Microsoft doesn't make it easy there's no options to change it back . i dont need the three extra account's . if i buy a 1 years gold card will it change my account back a single xbox live gold account? i already remove her account & two extras i made up so its just mine now .

If your looking to just get rid of the family plan all together and go to a single account, you might want to call support.

cancel autorenewal then wait till the time left is done

then all accounts go back to silver

The family plan has been discontinued. So it's not longer possible to purchase one.

If you call in to phone support, they can cancel out the family plan for you and the time remaining on the family plan can be converted into a single account. For instance, if you started the family plan in January, and you cancelled today, you would have a 6 months remaining on the family plan. When they cancel that, those 6 months would be converted to 12 months that you can use on a single account. No sense in wasting the time you have left on the family plan when it can be converted to something you will use. Hope that helps.
