YourProduct1-Did you buy a used console and it has the parental passcode on there? (button button trigger trigger?) If that is the case you need to call support and register the console, then support can help you with getting rid of it. It's not like the original xbox where there was a universal Konomi code.

If you are trying to reset a parental email that was once the parent to your account figure out what the email is on the console (generally accepting Terms of Use, when you go to accept it'll ask for the password and show the email at the top) go to account.live.com and follow the instructions for resetting the password.

After you can sign in and accept ToU and then promote your account to adult.

I AM NOT A MICROSOFT EMPLOYEE NOR FORUM MODERATOR. However I do know a lot about acct recovery.

Hey Laon! Can you fill us in on where you found this option; I'd love to share it with other users. Thanks!

I think I found it. You click on My account at the top of the page.

At the bottom of the page it takes you to it says Settings and Preferences and in that section it says Privacy and Online Settings. In there you can change the type of account. I'm assuming that's how they fixed their issue but I could be wrong.

I'm not sure if you can do it from the website but see if you can change the settings from on here somewhere, if you can I'd say there's a forgot password link but I dunno if you can do any of that on this actual website or if it can only be done on the Xbox :S
