Hooking up my Xbox 360 to my laptop

Is there a way to hook up my xbox 360 so that I can play it thru my laptop, instead of my TV?

Unfortunately no, the laptop only has a VGA output that goes out to a display like a monitor or television so it's similar to the xbox 360.  If by some rare feature your laptop has a vga "input" then it's possible but I don't think it exist.

If the laptop had a built in tv card/tuner, then yes, as it then becomes like a tv and usually includes s-video and composite ports. mine used to plug into the composite ports on my tv tuner and this made it possible to play.

No and I'm pretty sure every laptop video ports (VGA, HDMI, DVI), won't have 'input' as most of them are 'output'. Although, you can use a Desktop Monitor.
