OK, so here's the deal...i bought my 360 back in '06 and it was a 20 gig with component cables...this week my 32' vizio's main board died (also bought in '06) i was happy with it as it had 2 seperate video inputs and a seperate composite input plus an hdmi or 2 that i never used since my exbox doesn't have an hdmi output....long story short is that i scrambled around to buy a new tv but apparently all new tv's now come with hdmi inputs and less video inputs...so now i found a cheap 37' 1080p LED and by plugging my xbox to the one composite/component input it has i have to unplug my cable box or any other device because all of my devices are still standard definition...(dvd player, dish, etc.) (well do you expect me to throw them away if they still work?)
Bottom line, is there an adapter that i can plug into the xbox so i can convert it to hdmi or vga since the tv's also have vga pc inputs??... i was told by a salesman at an electronics store that my best solution would be to buy a hi-def receiver but those things cost upwards of 300 bucks, i may as well by a 360 slim for that price....any suggestions??
