Hey where's my question gone ??

Hi there I asked a question about a month ago and never got any replies I have logged in today and cannot find it.

My question was around the ability to use my live account on a friends console. I would occasionally go around to his or vica versa  and to use my account on his console requires a recovery once around there; and then again when I get home.

This is very poor way to achieve the desired result especially in this day and age with cloud services.

Am I to believe Microsoft does not want you to socialise with other players? Surely the ability to only log in from one console at a time with the addition of a PIN for security purposes would be a possible solution.

Or what about using Kinect. once you have setup your Kinect identity, it is password/PIN protected so it cannot be altered, then once you have a Live account Kinect verifies the user; which would prevent multiple simultaneous logins from different hardware.

If there is another way to achieve my desired functionality then please let me know failing that how can I pass these suggestions up to the relevant dept within XBL to see if it may be a worthy adition to the functionality already provided.

Thanks

Ruairi

One of the easiest ways to move your gamertag from one console to another without have to jump through the hoops of recovering it is to get a usb stick, format it to work with the xbox and then moving your gamertag onto the stick and transporting it back and forth.

Yes I agree that the memory stick is a good idea; but it's still sneaker-net

Well, until MS implements the CLOUD STORAGE on their service the USB method will have to suffice.
