[HELP]My 360 can't read my 120GB HDD!

I'm with a big problem. I have a Xbox 360 (old model) with a 20G HDD, and have decided to buy a 120GB HDD, so I simply bought one and normally tried to put it on my xbox. The problem is that my xbox can't read it, it says that the HDD is "Unformatted", and when I try to format it nothing happens. At first I thought that the problem was with my HDD, but after seeing that it was perfectly working on other xbox, I realised that the problem is my console. The strangest part is that my 20GB HDD never gave me any problem, and it's still working.

So, what can I do to fix this issue?

PS: Before anyone ask, both hard drives are Microsoft official.

Trust me, I thought the same thing w/ the software.

I Downloaded Halo over XBL and it wouldn't play because the software on my HDD was corrupt even though everything on it worked 100%. It sounds CRAZY, but Its very possible.

Hey there Gabriel! Have you tried your new 120gb HDD in another console? If you get this same outcome on another console, we can safely blame the HDD. In any event, I'd recommend getting a replacement from the retailer. Let me know if that helps, thanks!

A) Did you try to use the 20GB HDD in your console AFTER you put the 120GB HDD in? If so, did it work?

B) Only thing I can think is that the physical connection on the console between the HDD and the console itself is going bad (I've seen it before where it will read one but not another)

C) Only other thing I can think is something is corrupted in the software (ie: the Dashboard itself) which is causing it to not function.

Either way, I would contact Tech Support to test both scenarios and get it working.
