help!!

We're trying to Set up our new Xbox live that we got today, but we're having trouble. We already got signed up 12 months with Microsoft and already have a unique gamertag. But when we sign into Xbox 360 it says " try a different account " thank you for your help.

Try to check if the Microsoft account that you used is the one associated with your gamertag. Make sure to used the Microsoft account that you used to set up your XBOX live account.

Check if you have the correct Microsoft account with the correct gamertag. To check them, go to Settings > Profile > Account Security. You'll see there what the Microsoft account signed in on the gamertag.
