Registered with Microsoft xbox gold..but will not accept code!!!! The store will not take back..

Your account appears as Gold, did you have a pre-existing Gold membership? If not, it's already applied to your account.

Nothing is showing up on my xbox that I have an account...the xbox is telling me to enter this code..and when I do..it says its taken...

No..I am wolfslayer on my xbox..I had to use another email..when you register...they want you to register a email with microsoft..is that the address I need to use on my console?

That's the issue you're having then. You created a new account on the website and added your gold to that account instead of the account you already had and are wanting to use. You would either need to contact support to have them cancel the subscription on this account so you can add it to the correct account, or you would need to download this gamertag to your console in order to continue to use it.

Your gamertag is your account name. Like you said, your gamertag on the console is Wolfslayer. With prepaid cards you need to make sure you're signed into the correct gamertag before you redeem the code.

If you're trying to use this gamertag on your console, follow the instructions here to download the gamertag if you're using a 360 - support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

If you're using the One, you'll need to follow the instructions here - support.xbox.com/.../sign-in-solution

You'll need the email and password you used to create this account.

Just download the account you are using for this post to your xbox one then set the console as the home console and the gold membership will work with all accounts on your console including your other one.
