Usually when a manufacturer puts out an update it is to fix/improve a previous version. You may want to make sure the firmware upgrade was installed correctly just to be sure. You shouldn't have to downgrade for it to work properly. Perhaps you should contact your router manufacturer and see if anyone else has had any issues with that upgrade.

Okay, here are a few things to try.

-Go to your router manufacturers website and make sure you have the most recent version of firmware. If not, download it and install it as per the instructions on the manufacturers website.

-Does that resolve your NAT issue?

-On the bottom or back of your router there should be a reset button, if not then it is within your router software. Depress it (or click to reset if internal) for 5-10 seconds to reset the router back to the day you took it out of the box from the shop. Now before you connect anything else to your network, connect your console and see what your NAT is. (You may need to reset the Network Settings on your console as well before you do this)

Just an FYI, you can not have uPnP, Port Forward or DMZ enabled at the same time. If you do you will only cause more conflicts. So be sure when using one that the other two are disabled.

ok i think this is the biggest fail ever but i thought of a downgrade and YES it helped i downgraded the software from 1.4 to 1.2 (the standard software) and that helped so a upgrade made problems 0.o
