Help! not updating!

i want to play online, but i have to update. i say yes, it starts to update then decides to shove this in my face and your support page has nothing that can solve the matter! i have already check my connection and everything else associated with the problem an all checks out fine! the update is the problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm having the same status code too.  Tried clearing the console cache, it did nothing.  Tried downloading updates to a flashdrive, it did nothing.  Also, I'm having problems where almost every game that I want to play on Xbox Live requires an update.  Netflix & Call of Duty: Black Ops work fine.  But Rockband & others don't work.

Mines the same , ive cleard the cache ive reset my xbox ive tryed signing in on other accounts , still wont update ???????!!!!!! .... help?!

Chronic - have you tried downloading the update to a Flash Drive? support.xbox.com/.../system-updates

K so I did the flash drive yesterday didn't work. I did it today and it worked, but now my xbox has a different error code and won't recieve game updates or app updates. I have never had this problem til yesterday!

I get this when ever I want to update a game or app now. Also my xbox now is very sluggish, freezes 5x more then it used to, and now freaks out when I try to interact with my friends in any way!!! I am extremely pissed off!!!! I have never had these problems til the other day when the new update came out! I would love to contact Microsoft and tell them to fix my xbox, but I have not found a # to call or an email that goes directly to them!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!

i had the same problem the way i fixed it was take out all the cables and usb's and then did that chache thing then revoverded my account make sure you delete evreything first
