HELP!! LOCKED OUT OF WINDOWS ID - CUSTOMER SERVICE WONT HELP!!

I've been locked out of my Windows Live/Hotmail account for 2 weeks as i forgot my password and my security question is not working! I've been through all the automated password resetting system and it keeps coming back saying that they cant help as i havnt entered in enough information! I've entered everything that i know/can remember  even pre paid card numbers but they insist they can't help. I've also spoke to someone from xbox live on the phone but they say they dont have access to passwords for Wondows Live/Hotmail. I REALLY need to get this account back as its linked with my xbox live account, so i cant change anything on my xbox profile and can't access any gaming forums (Forza for example).

Also, i've had to quickly create a second hotmail account in order to post here but randomly my name is coming up as 'EagererCorgi1'?? << what is that all about? I've NEVER ever typed such a thing?

Is there any way at all i can speak to anyone on the phone so they can verify my ID and reset my password? As without this my Gamertag is effectively ruined!

nope xbox support doesn't have access to passwords

you must contact the windows live team which is a different team

you must work with the windows live team if you want the windows live id

i suggest you follow the windows live team's suggestion and fill out as much info as you can

Thanks, i've read your guide but there is only one page to the form i have to fill in which dosent give me any options to enter prvious IP address etc. I've filled this form in 3 times over the past 2 weeks and everytime i wait 3 days and get an email saying sorry, you havent given us enough info. I've hit a complete brick wall.

I never used my hotmail account so i never created any folders or sent any emails which means that i cant answer half the questions on the form. The only ones i can answer are those of name, address and passwords etc. I even gave a pre paid Microsoft points card number.

What will happen to my Gamertag/xbox if i closed my hotmail account? Assuming i can do so without my password?

you can't and you can never recover the account if you close your windows live id

without changing the windows live account

 

you need alotmore

you are going to have to go thru my guide

theere is alot of hints

Thanks, i wont close the account then. I have been through your guide but the form i'm directed to does not give me options to enetr misc information, all it gives me is questions about email folders etc. None of which apply to me.

Your guide mentions there will be spaces to enter internet provider, last login date, and IP addresses. But the validation form does not ask for these details at all, nor does it leave a space for misc info to be supplied.

as stated they did update the form since the guide was written

when you present the case they will make a private forums just for you

which you can add any additional info and you do have to be honest with them

if you do not get to the private forums part that means you are not even close to passing validation this is why being honest on the form helps

 

if you used random info it will be impossible to reset the info

The name of the credit card holder that i used once a long time ago on the account

But still i get no reply, no aknowledgement and no help.

then you are failing validation normally if they are not replying then its because you have not covered enough of the account and they are awaiting more info

like i said be honest with them its a human behind that forums they have very very strict rules on validation and alot has to be met

 

 

if you completely fail you would get a msg you have not passed validation

when they ask for the ip they want the IP from your router not the xbox's as that is only seen by your network not xbox
