Headset Not Receiving Power Anymore

To whom it may concern:

I am experiencing problems with my Xbox One headset. It worked well for the first 2 weeks of ownership, but since then it no longer is receiving power from the controller. I have tried it on multiple controllers with no success. The speaker icon doesn't appear next to my name when I play online games (sound comes through TV) and I can confirm no power by not getting a light when pressing the mute button. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, is there a solution? Or did I just get a bad headset. I've hardly used it so I find it odd it would break this quickly.

Since you tried on other XBOX ONE controllers. The only thing I can say to called phone support. The number is 1-800=4MY-XBOX.  That if you live in the Us and Canada.

I had to buy a new headset which was ridiculous considering mine broke within first 2 weeks of purchase.
