HDMI won't recognize my xbox 360

Ok so I have a 52 in. Samsung that is less than 2 years old and my xbox is about a year old.  I've had no problems playing using an HDMI cable.  Yesterday I had to unplug the HDMI cable along with the one for our Directv (long story).  When I replugged them in the xbox one says no signal.  I have used the same cable to plug in something else and it works.  I have used an avg cable (the one with the 3 colored plugs) to plug in the xbox and that works too so i know it;s not the xbox.  Is there something that resets in the xbox or something that I have to do to be able to use it with an HDMI cable?  I can't play using the other cable, the picture quality is horrible.  I have searched and searched online and it seems alot of people seem to have this problem but no solution.  Please help.

Do you have another hdmi tv/monitor you can test the hdmi port with? To see if your hdmi port on your TV is not function or if it is your xcbox.

Hi! Have you tried checking out this stick post about Having Trouble Seeing Content on your TV? There should be a method for resetting the Display Settings in there. :) forums.xbox.com/.../16.aspx

Has anyone found a solution to this? I'm having the same exact issue, only with a Panasonic plasma.

Pleash, have you also tried a different HDMI cable? And have either of you contacted the TV manufacturer about the issue, to see if they have any more information they can provide?

Yep, tried multiple cables that all work with other devices. Also talked to Panasonic and they didn't know of a solution, although I think it's the TV since the Xbox will work with a different TV.

To be sure, is your other TV the same make and model? If not, does anyone you know have the same make and model of TV?

If your xbox is hooked up through a sorround sound or a tv that is connected to the internet you may have an update for either or both. i had the same problem and i restarted my sourround sound it did an update then no problems after that.
