HDMI Input on Xbox One - Windows PC

I have XBMC setup on a computer next to my TV and I just got an Xbox One.

I would like to have the computer go through the Xbox one so I can say something like "Xbox, go to HDMI input" and have the computer screen show up.

Then I can use XBMC remote on my phone / tablet and I never have to use a normal remote.

I have been unable to get this to work.

I contacted support and they said that even though it was previously announced that Xbox 360, PlayStation, PC, etc could use the Xbox One as a pass through, that feature was pulled prior to launch and if a cable signal is not detected over the HDMI input then it will not display the content.

This is a huge disappointment, so I wanted to check the forums to see if anyone else has been able to get a simple HDMI pass through to work.

Thanks in advance.
