Haven't Received Foxtel Free Month of Gold

I signed up for this free Foxtel trial about three weeks ago, and I've yet to received my free month of Gold. I dunno who talk to about this, so I was wandering if anyone here could help?

Umm mostely likely if you read the fine print it would take 6-8 weeks before receiving anything ( or if nothing was there indicating it ) that is how long or maybe longer it takes you can contact support and get more info on this good luck mate

This Foxtel thing on Xbox LIVE is pathetic. Not much has changed since the "beta" phase.

After a 3-4 month hiatus from LIVE, I decided to purchase 1 month for 1 dollar and see what's going on. Took advantage of being gold and subscribed to Foxtel. Loaded the app and what do you know, apparently, I am not an Xbox LIVE gold subscriber. What's more pathetic is that they have already charged the credit card.

Anyway, the code, I got it within 24 hours. Rather confused that I receive a code for subscribing to one service, but another does not acknowledge my status.

Another dodgy practice from Microsoft.

Wows...you really have turned into a sour little man BAMBAM , I remember you used to be quite the helper on here, and very cheerful! What happened dude?!?!

Anyway...

I tried the Foxtel thing for a month (still going) and it's "ok", pretty average but I really didn't expect much, good to catch up on footy games I missed from the weekend. But I was already gold and didn't really need the LIVE sub insentive. Infact I would never fall for a "Free Gold" sell...it usually ends up in teary people not reading the fine print and getting an unexpected bill a month later

Did you get my message back mate? I sent it through raptr, so I'm not sure if it got through to you.

 

Have no idea what the deal is though, I know you are meant to call Foxtel for support, but from what i've heard, you're better off talking to a brick wall

Nope. No message. But after I had messaged you, I called Foxtel's customer support and they told me something about the console ID and the account that I purchased the subscription with were not matching? It was a first for them, as I got put on the phone with the guys team leader, trying to explain to one another what happened.

 

In the end, I was told that I would receive an email within 48 hours (times almost up) and that email should help me solve the problem.

Its things like this that have stopped me from trying the service, I do not want the hassle it can turn out to be. Geez just getting back onto these forums was enough for me!
