have a gold membership and connected to Xbox live but unable to play any games online.

I have been having this problem for a few weeks now. I am connected to Xbox live, have a gold membership, and I have a wired connection. However, every time that i try to play a game online it says that I am unable to connect to xbox live. When i play assassin's creed 3 it says i cant connect to Ubisoft. When i play Halo 4 i says i am not connected to xbox live,but as it says this xbox llive tells me one of my friends just started play halo 4. Also call of duty black ops 2 does the same thing as halo. I have checked every support forum that has problems like mine for all three games but nothing has happened. Please Help Me.

Start off by resetting your network settings. If that doesn't work, try resetting your router. There also might be some firewall issues blocking you from accessing xbox live. In that case, I suggest you take a look at this guide. It tells you which ports that has to be open etc. Hope it helps you out. Good luck:-)

Can you try to delete your profile (profile only), and then download it again and see if this fixes this issue for you?

Delete Profile Safely:

Go to Settings, and then select System.
Select Storage.
Select All Devices.
Select Gamer Profiles.
Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
Select Delete.
Select Delete Profile Only.

Download Profile:

Push the middle button on your XBOX 360 controller.
Select Download Profile.

If you don't see the option to download profile, please make sure you are signed out of your current profile by pushing the X button while having the guide menu open.
