Harman/Kardon AVR1700 reciever not supported?!

My Harman/Kardon AVR1700 is not listed under the supported Harman/Kardon receivers.  This really defeats the whole purpose of the all in one aspect as I can not say "Xbox On" and have everything turned on.  I know the system just came out and there are more pressing maters as of now.  So I propose we make an area on the forum, (if there already isn't one, I searched and couldn't find one) for; tvs, cable/dish boxes, and receivers that are currently not supported - so perhaps in future updates MS can look at this said thread and try to provide support to these devises.

List of unsupported Devices:

1) Harman/Kardon AVR1700

Choose avr-1650. Works for me.

Edit : Should point out that I use it only for sound, outputted from my TV. Xbox volume up and down work, and it turns on and off with xbox on / turn off. Thats all I really need it to do.

Yes, own the avr 1700, and have the model set to avr-1650 on X1. First one I tried and it worked...

Funny enough, I'm having a different issued with the surround which is why I came to these forums, about to make a post about it.

Well can perhaps the issue you are having with the surround sound be because you have told the X1 you have a avr1650 when you have a avr1700?  I only say that because right now I don't have a receiver selected and the surround works fine.  I wonder if using the wrong avr model is messing something up...

I don't think so, choosing the 1650 should only affect the controls, not the speakers set. Could be wrong though, home audio isn't my forte.

Nevermind, I found it.  My receiver by the way is a Onkyo TX-NR727.

Ya I find it odd that the avr1700 is unsupported it is at the higher end of things I could see receivers from years ago not supported
