Hardrive Transfer

Hey Forum, Just wanted to know can i configure a usb and put my hard drive data on it ( including map packs, gamerpics, and other ) and then transfer it to my new Xbox 360 that im getting september 20th ( limited edition 320GB gears of war 3 console ) hope you can help and give me good news . Thanx.

Yes, as long as the USB flash drive is at least 1GB and a maximum of 16GB.

You can use a USB flash drive larger than 16GB. The 360 will only allow use of up to 16GB for storage.

My own USB stick is a 32GB flash drive. This allows for a full 16GB of storage space. Using a 16GB USB flash drive results in a maximum MU size of 14.3GB.

What I did when I got my new console was just move game saves/profile onto the usb stick and then used the download history to get everything else I wanted.

Don't forget to do a License Transfer on the new console or the DLC will not function properly.
