Hard Drive Not Recognised

I have two hard drives, one that came with my 360 and another 120gb one we bought for more room. When I first tried to configure the extra one, I accidentally configured the old one, deleting everything. But that was a while ago, and everything is solved now.

However, the xbox only recognises the hard drives as memory units now. Again, no problem but Battlefield 4 requires a hard drive to play. So my question is: how do I get my xbox to recognise the hard drives again?

Hi, the problem is that you configured the hard drives as xbox USB storage devices, this will have removed  information the console needs to distinguish an xbox hard drive from a USB hard drive. In essence this now means you can't use the hard drives as xbox hard drives again.

Broccoli, tiny trees of green goodness.

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.

Great! Thanks for marking this as the answer.
