Hard Drive is full and there's nothing I can do

I have an HDD hard drive attached to my 360 but after four years the memory has reached the brim. There's only something like 400 MB left on it, not even enough for a small DLC. In the past, I was able to trim fat and clear up space, but it eventually whittled down to only clearing a few MB at a time. Now there is literally nothing I can delete, it's all game progress, saves, and DLCs. The stuff I have left to delete are just small things like gamerpics, but those take up such a small amount of memory (maybe a total of 5 MB or something) deleting them is fruitless.

I stuck a 4GB USB drive in as an act of desperation, but that filled up in a single day.

Is there anything I can do? There's no way I'm going to be able to play new games and DLCs in the future.

There's no limit to how many HDDs you may pair with a console. Buy some 250GB 360 HDDs.

HELP!  I have the same problem!  Except mine is a 320gb HD!  Only 2gb left and a whole lot of games I still want like I AM ALIVE.  I download a TON of arcade games and have a disc library of over 400 titles (and I download a ton of downloadable content for each.)  I have a 320gb slim.  What is a guy to do?  I know I can upgrade my PS3 HD to like a 750gb, but I hear I can't do that on X-Box.

Its against ToS policy to modify the hard drive case to put in a bigger hard drive to use. I think its time to delete Game Installs you do not play anymore or rarely place so you can free space.

Delete DLC for games you're not playing too.

Either that or start buying the releases on PS3 instead of 360.  MS should know to have a bigger drive available for it's power users.

In case you didn't know, any download content you delete from your hdd can be re-downloaded at a later time whenever you want to use it via your Download History. So if you aren't playing a specific game currently you could remove it and all the DLC for it to free up some space. Also you can use USB flash drives up to 16Gb.
