GTA: San Andreas BIG Problem

I downloaded this game for Xbox 360 slim from the Xbox Live Marketplace about 5 months ago. I have been re-downloading and downloading ever since, because it keeps saying I can;t play the game, please download and try again. Help?

Hi!

Do you have a 4Gb Slim or a 250Gb Slim?

The reason I ask is because a hard drive is required to run the emulation software, which the 4Gb Slim can't do, as it uses flash memory instead of a hard drive.

well the game size is about 4.5gb so a 4gb slim would be useless

Good shout sir! OP, ignore me, sorry!

Mister Gwyther (Xbox Support) has a FAQ regarding Xbox Originals not working here: forums.xbox.com/.../25.aspx

I would suggest you try clearing your consoles cache:

System Settings > Memory > Highlight HDD, Press (Y) > Clear System Cache > Yes

Edit: And my original question still stands, as the San Andreas download is only 2.7Gb.

I have a 4gb slim with a 120gb hard drive installed.

[/quote]Hmm, that could well be your issue. Tell me, where did that 120Gb HDD for the Slim come from? Did you butcher an old style Xbox HDD or bought a random one from ebay or the like?

The only HDDs officially licensed for the Slim are 250Gb, shortly 320Gb too.
