GT being hacked and lack of support

So 8 days ago my GT scoteye was hacked, fortunately no money or points were stolen and have since turned the matter over to Microsoft. However we are up to the third attempt to reset my WLID and password, apparently writing the correct email down to send the correct information to is quite difficult. I do however hold out hope that this time it is successful.

In the meantime i am fortunate enough to have a spare Family gold acc to use but i cannot use MS points etc which bites.

Last night whilst in a party one of my suspected hackers joined and  admitted to hacking my account, left  and returned maybe an hour later to threaten my wife. We have already removed this guys GT once my account was hacked as we didn't want anything to do with him, now i am told to file a complaint on my console but due to this he does not appear on the recent players list. This service needs attention as only last 100 players show.

This AusFreek guy was also registered on my website registered an email of [mod removed: do not post email addresses or suspicious links] .  Now i have done some research into this and you can see his email at the bottom of  [mod removed: do not post email addresses] with his email  being almost identical. on my newest website database he has given a fake email.

I also have many XBL friends who can confirm his threats of further hacks and threats of violence.

I demand XBL takes this seriously, bans him immediately and reinstates my account. I will be consolidating my information, databases and sources and referring them to the Australian Queensland Police Cyber crimes division.

Nothing can be done over forums

You must call support in your region

Thanks for your feedback.

You need to continue working with phone support to resolve this matter. Just an FYI, you are not allowed to name and shame offenders within the forums. If you want MS to take action against the offender then you need to use the tools on your console, file a complaint tool, so they can review, investigate and take action. Enforcement action is not instant so it will take some time to resolve.

XBL takes every complaint seriously, that is why a human, not a machine, reviews each and every one, inlcuding the false complaints.

Greetings, PGZ. I'm very sorry to hear about your situation. The proper way to report issues such as this is by filing a complaint via your console. You can find steps for how to do this here: forums.xbox.com/.../19139.aspx. We take reports of harassment very seriously. If you file a complaint it will be reviewed as Tem mentioned. You may want to refer to the bottom of the sticky for some insight into exactly how Enforcement operates.

In addition, you can absolutely contact your local authorities if you feel unsafe. Let us know if you have any further question.

@AusFreak

This thread is from 2012, so the issue is most likely resolved by now.

Please be aware that it's best practise in the forums not to post in threads older then a few weeks
