Green flashing power button on my Slim

Sometimes when i turn on my xbox, i notice that the power button flashes as if the disk tray is opening but there is already a disk in there and i didnt open my disk tray. It'll keep flashing until i actually open and close my tray and resume operation as normal. Also, at times, in the middle of a game, my console will send me to the dashboard and the light will start flashing but the tray wont open. it would act as if there is no disk in the tray and would wait for me to open it.
any fixes/solutions ? /:

If i were you, I would Contact support. From what you've said, it sounds like your drive is defective(or getting to that point.) Because it is not a year old yet (that means the warrenty has not expired yet). contact support, tell them your problem and see if you can get it repaired.

I called them a few days ago to get my drive repaired and they said that because it is still under its 1 year warranty, they would pay for everything. Even shipping. I did not have to pay a cent. (My Xbox 360 is currently on its way to Texas to get repaired as I type this)

You cant. You would need to open the console up. But that would void any official Microsoft repair. It would also subject you to a console ban from xbox live for "system tampering" Its against the CoC to open the console up
