Got red light of death. bought new 360 slim system and transfered everything over.........................

So I go to play Fable III that I downloaded and the saved game I had been playing on original system before red light of death is nowhere to be found had to start new game not impressed. WTF.. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this or similar issues... Any feedback welcome thanks....

Did you actually physically transfer the save from the first hard drive to the next hard drive? If not you have to do that first. Your explanation is a bit vague in that we don't know if you just did a License Transfer and didn't take your saves over.

I went through and transfered gamertag and all that did the license transfers for all my downloaded games as it said to through the 360 slim instructions. If I some how miss the saved games I don't know how I did.

You would have had to use a transfer cable or USB flash drive to transfer the saved game files over. They wouldn't be moved over by recovering your gamertag or transferring licenses.

ok thanks. now how is a flash drive going to access my saved games if all my old system does when I power it up is go red light of death x3 on me?

No. In your case you would have to use a transfer cable to transfer the files from your old hard drive to the Slim's hard drive.

You'll need to use a hard drive transfer cable, more information on that can be found here > www.xbox.com/.../Transfer.
