My gold ran out a month ago and since i wasn't able to update my payment info it deactivated my account. it would not allow me to add my 12 month card so i had to make a new account. it would not let me use my old account until i updated my security settings, which i had to do to update my payment info. now my old account works and i have 2440 microsoft points i would like to use on my new account. is there any way to transfer them, use them and transfer it over, besides a file transfer.

You are not able to transfer your points from one profile to another.

But you can download any content with the profile having points on it, and use these contents with any other profile on your console.

Please contact the phone support to fix your payment info of the other account.

but a faster way to speak to a Billing Agent is to go to http://xbox.com - sign in there if you can - then go to http://support.xbox.com/contact-us?xr=footnav#0:2:5

 
 
Click on Request A Call and type in a few lines explaining your issue and you will get called back quicker than if you waited in queue on hold.
