Gold not working

I just bought gold off the computer and when i go on my xbox it says i only have the free version

It can take a while to 'reach' the console, you could try redownloading the gamertag or just wait a few hours.

Just check if your connection is ok and you have the windows live Id and corresponding password befor trying this, and be sure to delete the profile only and NOT the save games etc.

Hello man,

you will have to follow these steps.

First clear you system cache.

Click this link for how to do it.

support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

Then delete your gamertag Only (when the option pops out)and re-download it from live service.

Click here support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

Before deleting it make sure you remember your personal information (Live ID)

There is a bit of a delay from when you activate Gold on a PC and when it will register on your console.  Most times, simply testing your connection will update the status of your account without having to delete and re-download your profile.
