gold membership

When my son attempts some of the functions it keeps coming up with the message that gold membership is required.I have entered my code and received a confirmation email regards activating 12 month membership.Any ideas with a resolution to this

Hi there,

Make sure your son is signed in on the same gamertag the 12 month membership was redeemed on. If you have and it's still not recognising it's a Gold-enabled gamertag, you can have it refresh by either re-downloading the gamertag or testing your Xbox Live connection.
