Gold membership upgrade issue

I have a new system. I upgraded my membership from a Free to Gold membership. The upgrade shows on

my account information, but not on my signed in profile. That still shows as xbox live Free. As such,  I can't access my

netflix or other live options.

If you added the gold on the website, there is a delay before your console will recognize it. To speed up the process you can either test your connection or recover your account.
