Gold Membership Renewal Issue

I purchased a three month prepaid card to renew my membership and I got an email since saying my membership expired. I am not in payment deficit or banned. I do not have a credit card and I checked and was informed I was not banned. Why has my membership status not updated since I redeemed the card?

You're showing as gold here. Did you redeem the card on the website? If so there is a delay that can last a few hours before your console will recognize it. Try testing your connection or recovering your account.

It still is not showing up in either place, but I do suspect it could be a delay since it was redeemed on the website. I'll give it until this evening and see if it works. I'll be back if it doesn't. This website also seems to hate my iPhone. It took me 15 minutes to post that correctly.
