Gold Family Pack problems.

I've been a XBL member for 5 years now. I recently switched to Gold Family Pack. And when I try to add my kids to the account it says that it can't add them at this time. Try again later. My kids already have gold accounts as well. I don't think that I'm doing anything wrong, but maybe. I was just wondering if anyone else was having the same problem. Or if anyone has any ideas. Any help would be great.

It's more than likely because they have gold memberships that you can't add them.

That's what I thought.  Perhaps the OP should call support on this one or contact @xboxsupport on Twitter.

I don't believe so. If they already have Xbox Live Gold accounts, then their time is added (a little bit truncated though) to the total time on Xbox Live Gold Family. This happened to be before as well, when I was trying to add someone. If there are already 4 people on it, then you won't be able to add. I had 2 subscribers, and more which had been since removed from Xbox Live Gold Family, but I had to remove them entirely in order to add the new ones.
