Gold Family memberships

Now that the gold family membership is no more. Is it right that we need to purchase Gold memberships for every account to play on line? We don't plan on getting the Xbox One just to get the Gold Home.

Unless something changes in the future, yes, each account would need their own gold subscription in order to play online on the 360.

Now that Xbox One is offering the family option or only needing one membership per unit....  I don't see why it would be that difficult to offer a software update to allow something similar for loyal 360 customers.  We've stood by xbox even after the red ring trouble / purchased 4 xboxes in total over the past 5 years... but we won't go up to the Xbox One if we will just get shafted again the next time they bring out a new system.  It feels like they took away that option to FORCE families to upgrade or get stuck paying up to $300 a year in membership fees (We have three kids).

PS4 doesn't do that to their customers, we would be sad to leave but can't afford to stay if we can't trust Xbox live to look after it's long term customers
