Gold account still showing as silver

Yesterday I was getting an error when trying to redeem a 12 month gold card. I called and a rep helped me out and got me activated. Even though it activated and I had the full functionality of a gold account, I'm still showing as silver on the dashboard. The rep told me it would take a few hours, but it's been over 24 hours and it still shows me as being silver. I tried logging out and back in multiple times and still have the same issue. Any help is appreciated.

Are you still experiencing this issue.  Upon checking out your profile on xbox.com, it says you are a gold member.

im having the same problem, updated from the xbox live free membership to gold and it still says free and wont let me play on xbox live. every time i try to it just says my account isnt aloud to play on xbox live?

I am still having this issue. I noticed it's showing me as gold on here but everything on my dashboard shows silver.

I'm having the same trouble i just upgraded to the gold membership from the silver one and it says i'm on the gold on this site but it says i'm still silver on my x box dashboard :(

In the past when I've had descrepancies with my Gamertag and info between my console and xbox.com, I've used the "Recover Gamertag" option on my console and let it download the info again.  If you try it and things are still not updated, I would contact support via phone or support chat.

The above method is a great method to try, or you can also simply run the Xbox LIVE Connection Test, as that should refresh your info as well. :)
