gold account not working

just got a gold membership of on my computer and it says on the Xbox the member ship is still silver, but when i go in to manage account under ur membership its there but it wont let me play on any game online wat up with that ????

There's a delay when you add time through the website vs. on the console. To speed up the process you can either test your connection or recover your account.
