Getting disconnected from Xbox Live

I keep getting Disconnected from Xbox Live while I play. I have been on Xbox Live for quite awhile, always using a wireless connection, and this is the first time I've had this issue. I've seen others post about this same issue but I can't seem to find the answer. Everyone says how all the little tricks with resetting modems/routers and changing LAN settings never work, so it would be great if someone gives me an answer to my problem without jumping through hoops that don't change anything. Please help!!!!!

Have you tried switching to a wired connection? And you should still try these steps support.xbox.com/.../performance
