Getting Disconnected from LIVE

My brother and I both have our own Xbox 360 consoles, each of us have our own LIVE accounts

Basically, the problem is, if we were to both be playing at the same time, and one of us was to turn our console off, the other is disconnected from LIVE and unable to re-connect without restarting both the console and the router.

It seems strange to me because none of us seem to experience connection issues whilst playing, only when one of the consoles has been switched off.

does anyone have any advice on how to prevent this in future?

thanks

Hi,

That is very strange!

Please read:- forums.xbox.com/.../9.aspx

And post back your details in full (the bits that are in bold on that post) so that people may help, can you also let us know how the Xboxes are physically connected wireless or wired, if wired what are they wired to the router or to a PC or something else, as much details as possible really
