Getting an error status report when I check the live-connection

Hi, I have a quite new xbox 360 slim, have had some trouble making live work with it. After I had fixed our network and opened ports and make the ip static and blablabla, it worked like a dream.
Now it doesn't let me play with my friends at multiplayer games or join their parties. I can join any other multiplayer game, this is mostly Red Dead Redemption. I don't have too many other games.

But yeah, why the f won't it let me play or join? It doesn't pop up anything when I check the live connection, I just pressed Y to see if there were any problems. This is what I got:
W: 0000-0021
X: 0000-000D
Y: 20A8-4800
Z: 0000-0000
ID: FFFF-FFFF

Doesn't really make any sense to me, so I googled it. Nothing.

Sooo... any way to fix this? I'm getting quite fed up with this crap now.

I get the error if I turn the xbox on and off and back on again, then I restart the router and it works again.

Hey again. Can you please try resetting your router to factory defaults and set it up again? Also, some ISPs restrict the NAT or block certain ports through their router or even at the provider-level. Which ISP do you have? You could try contacting them to see if they know of any issues and solutions for connecting the 360 console to their service. Let me know how this goes, thanks!

I have problems joining parties with everyone, multiplayer seems to work, but it's still not stable.

My NAT is open, my router doesnt support UPnP, I have tried opening the DMZ even. So yeah, this is not my networks fault.

Hey there Nutcaze! So we're having issues playing with other users on LIVE, yeah? Are these friends that you have issues with consistently, or are you having issues simply playing online with others in general? One thing you make sure of with your newly set-up network is to check that your NAT settings are open for online play (forums.xbox.com/.../34069.aspx). Have you done this already? Let me know, thanks!

I don't feel like resetting it to a default, takes too much time setting up all the ports and stuff around here. It works now anyways, I just need to restart it before turning the xbox on.

Do you mean you are simply turning it off and back on again? I mean actually open up the settings for the router and reset it to factory default settings. Then set it back up again from there. Let me know if this helps.

Okay, can you try Mister Gwyther's suggestion of resetting the router's settings back to default? You may have to refer to your router's instruction manual to do this. :)
