Getting a console banned message

Hello, I would like some assistance understanding why my colsole was banned.  I have never modified anything on my box, I have only added xbox approved products such as an external hard drive, wifi connector and astro head sets...nothing else...ever. The only thing else I can think of is that I downloaded the most recent map pack for call of duty black ops on a USB drive and brought it to my friends house to play it there.  If this is what caused the bann I had no idea that playing off my usb drive was in the code of conduct.  Please help me.   Casey Rivera  -   *** Email address is removed for privacy ***   - 407-977-2793

Note;  I have no reason to modifiy anyting, The only game I play is Call of Duty and I'm 15 prestige level 50, I really do not have any reason to mod.  I love the gave as it is!!!!

Microsoft do not un-ban previously banned consoles as they are permanent. They do not ban people's consoles/accounts lightly, they do so after several investigations.

The most common reason for a banned console is modifying it, but there are other reasons such as marketplace theft.
