I did noticce in the error that it is listing the gamertag that was recently changed with the account not the current one.  I was forced to change it due to a TOS or complaint

You have two IDs which you provide when logging in: a WebID (probably your live account) and your GamerTag. However, those two you're passing along aren't linked in the system, resulting in the exception you're seeing right now. From what I gather, it is supplying the old GamerTag, not the new one.

Maybe the new GamerTag hasn't propagated properly yet.

Maybe you can retry linking your GamerTag to your live account somewhere on xbox.com in order to update the data. I've never changed my GamerTag so I can't tell for sure.

I am still unable to log in to the site but am now getting a different error:

Server Error in '/' Application.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>

   <system.web>

       <customErrors mode="Off"/>

   </system.web>

</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>

   <system.web>

       <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>

   </system.web>

</configuration>

Scallywaggzz - are you referring to Xbox.com as a whole, or just the gears site? Is this with a different GT, or the one you're posting from?

I can log into xbox.com as well as halo.xbox.com without an issue .  The above error comes from trying to log into the gears site only.  As far as I know the gamertag I am posting from is the only one I have so I am logging in with that.
