Games/Apps installed on my brother's console are showing up on my console.

I've got a weird situation...

I got my Xbox One last December. Since then, several members of my family have used it, including my brother. About 6 weeks ago, my brother got his own console, and now whenever he installs a game or an app on his console, they simultaneously install on mine.

I don't have a clue why that's happening. I've removed his profile from my machine, hoping that might solve the problem... It didn't.

Both Xboxes are on the same network (there aren't any other networks available other than our home LAN), but we both have our own Xbox Live accounts.

Any ideas? -Wes

Hi there,

If he has signed into your Xbox One first, it will set it as his home Xbox, meaning that you will get any game that he buys digitally. You can do the same on his console, and he will get any game that you own.

Essentially you don't have to buy the game twice, you can share games with each other. It's worth noting that you can only have one home Xbox per account, and you can only change it about 3 times a year.

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.

Great! Thanks for marking this as the answer.
