gamertag corrupted

Logged on to my profile started re-downloading things for Borderlands 2 because for some odd reason we can only get what we purchase for it thorough my account only. Something stopped downloading when it was almost done. Then when we went to check storage to see if it finished and it said that my profile was corrupted.  Help please.

All you need to do in this situation is delete and redownload the profile again. I suggest after you delete the profile, clearing your system cashe on the Hard Drive. To do this, simply go to Settings > System > Storage > Highlight the HD and press Y, then select clear system cashe. Do this twice, and then redownload the profile.

I hope you get everything redownloaded without issue!

Ok so all my saved stuff came back but we are still having a problem with our borderlands 2 when we are playing all of a sudden it said that there is a error in the disk and that it needs to be cleaned but there is nothing wrong with it. So what do I do.

I think you may have a Licensing issue. It sounds like your account purchased the content.  I think first you should check all devices (Hard Drive, Memory Units, & USB's) for corrupted files, not just games & apps. Then delete RIghts Database (if you don't have any rentals pending!) and marketplace data. After that delete what you have been trying to download. Then do License transfer in Account Management, then redownload the content. See if that works. If another account purchased borderlands 2 content then they need to do the license transfer (IF they want their console licenses there at that console) and then DLC will work for everyone on that console.

Okay so did both suggestions and now it won't get pass the loading screen without telling me it needs an update and then tells me I don't have enough memory but I have the star wars xbox so I have enough. Should I just send it back for the second time but this time leave the hard drive in it?

Have you tried re-seating the hard drive? (Removing and blowing out debris, then placing back in?) If that doesn't work, try a USB, remove the hard drive completely, and place a USB in, (format it first!) and see if that works. If it does there may be an issue with the hard drive itself (which sucks, that's an awesome console!).
