(First-time) Intermittent Network Failure

I live in Hong Kong, China.

I have an Apple Time Capsule 802.11n Wi-Fi Hard Drive as a modem.

I have an NEC NTA-3110 Router.

I have a 8 MB Wireless connection with a WPA2 encryption connected via a XBOX 360S Built-in Adaptor.

My UPnP status is unknown.

I used to have an Open NAT before I lost my connection.

My error status report after a failed network test has

X : 0008 - 0019

ID : 0000 - 0016

with all other fields being 0000 - 0000.

I have a DSL connection provided by PCCW.

After the error message, the XBOX says that it could not connect to the specified wireless network. I tried all of the listed suggestions, down to the online help procedures. None of them produced a consistent result.

I recently moved my XBOX to a different wireless network and back. That network was 100 MB and was unspecified. The connection failures occurred after I moved the XBOX. Could it have some connection to the issue? After dozens of attempts, the connection works intermittently, only to fail again the next day. I retried the procedures and the connection worked intermittently again. It went back to square one the day after that.

Can you try resetting your router and Xbox back to their defaults? If you have a static IP set up and moved the Xbox, it's best to reset everything and reconfigure the static IP. :)
