Faulty headset out of the box and I'm expected to pay postage to have it replaced ,

Hi I have a Faulty headset out of the box and I'm expected to pay postage to have it replaced to the European Czech repair centre, I was sold a faulty product and the way I am being treated is unacceptable, It will cost me around £8 to have this shipped , who should I have to pay out of my own pocket Anyone else had this issue ? What should I do
