family plan

I just upgraded to the family plan for xbox live. I added my son to the account and then tried to recover his gamer tag to his xbox 360. i got an message when recovering his profile that said sign in was unavailable. does anyone have any idea why i got this message and what to do to fix it?

Did it say this before or after you entered your sons information? Make sure you entered everything correctly. If you entered everything right you should contact Microsoft and I'm sure they'll help you as best as they can.

Hey there Jay! Can you clarify that you are seeing this message on your son's account on your console after he recovered to another console, or are you seeing this on your account. If yours, try recovering your account on your console and see if that clears it up. Let me know how that goes. Thanks!
