Family account

When I go to add a gamertag to my family account the only screen that appears is the "Content Controls" screen. How to I get to the add a family member screen. I read the FAQ and follow the steps but never get to the screen it shows just the Content Controls screen.

Hi,

Only the primary member (the person who started the gold family pack) can add users to the family pack. If you're logged into the primary account try to test your connection to Xbox LIVE and see if this option shows up for you, if not, try to delete your profile (profile only), and then download the profile again and see if this resolve it.

You can test your connection to Xbox LIVE by going to Settings > System > Network Settings > Select Wired/Wireless > Test Connection to Xbox LIVE.

Delete Profile Safely:

Go to Settings, and then select System.
Select Storage.
Select All Devices.
Select Gamer Profiles.
Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
Select Delete.
Select Delete Profile Only.

Download Profile:

Push the middle button on your XBOX 360 controller.
Select Download Profile.

If you don't see the option to download profile, please make sure you are signed out of your current profile by pushing the X button while having the guide menu open.
