Kindly tell me what is going on.
I bought Fallout 3 for PC (Game of the Year Edition) this week (October 2013).
I have a new i7 Sabertooth PC running Windows 8.1 x64. ALL other games work great.
I installed it today (both discs). I got some usual "Are you sure you want ti install message).
I tried to run the game (after it auto-set to ultra settings)... and then I got error message 80154002.
I think I have to have an X-box account?
Who knows? Is it some secret Microsoft mystery?
I have a gmail acocunt and tried to put those details in but it strings me along and sends me form one place to another and confuses me as to what the heck I am supposed to do.
Who thinks such crap up at MS; all I want to do is have an hours gaming, not go through some fifteen hour marathon of account setting-up and compatibility computing.
So. Please. One you you kind souls....
Share the Microsoft rotten secret... "How do I get Fallout 3 working; given the above?
I tried to put the game code in on Steam but it booted it. So I assume it is not a steam game.
