Fall 2013 Xbox LIVE Update

Hi all,

It appears the Fall 2013 Xbox LIVE Update launched last night.

Outside of Microsoft Points changing to Currency, is there a list of other changes anywhere?  I checked Major Nelson's site which linked to an FAQ that only talked about Points to Currency.

Thanks!

...especially since here in Canada our local currency has done away with the penny...but maybe after taxes are factored in the round-up would happen anyways just like any other retailer does =)

I was in the beta, and was happy to discover the change from points to cash actually worked in our favor a bit.

The penny has been done away with, but that applies to cash transactions only.  So if you go to Subway and get a sub of the day, which costs $7.06 total, you'll pay $7.05 if you use cash.

If you use debit or credit though, you're still charged the proper $7.06.

I've noticed this as well.

My Microsoft Points converted to currency and I got roughly $0.15 more than the straight conversion of the Points.  Not a huge gain, but anything is better than not.

It's a plus as well as the stores don't tax the points cards anymore, and I've yet to have any marketplace purchase actually tax me.
