Failing To Connect to Xbox Live

Hi Guys,

Our proxy requires a password which puts a stump in front of Xbox 360's logging in to Xbox Live. I want to use my Windows 7 Pc as the gateway to the internet for Xbox LIVE so it will pass through our proxy.

Currently I have a network bridge from my wireless NIC to the ethernet port,

and all tests pass the TEST Network Settings except logging in to Xbox LIVE.

My guess is that Xbox 360 is bypassing my proxy settings in Internet Options and attempting to go directly to the internet.

Anyone have any solutions?

Cheers,

Matt

Hi, are you using an actual bridge or Internet Connection Sharing? If you selected both network cards and right clicked and created a bridge that won't work in this set-up you will have to use Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) instead
