I just spent an 1.5 hours trying to get the "My Account" link to work by chatting with specialists. I have to use an xbox account to buy games, videos, etc for my Microsoft Surface. I get an error anytime I try to purchase a download. So I log into xbox.com and click on "My Account". I get this error:

The person on chat knew nothing about the surface (I was told to close the browser window) and eventually disconnected the chat session, putting me 16th in line again. I have already wasted 1.5 hours. DO NOT BUY A MICROSOFT SURFACE. They just haven't (and probably won't) worked out the kinks of using an xbox account to purchase downloads for a Surface.
