Error: One or more players do not have a hard drive...

I have formatted a 16GB USB card. It appears in the memory panel and appears to work fine. But in Halo Reach, I get the error message "One or more players do not have a hard drive which is required for this playlist." Does a USB not qualify as a HDD memory device? XBOX 360 Arcade version.  Thanks.

Hello - USB Storage Devices are seen as the system as Memory Units. You would need a certified Microsoft Xbox 360 Hard Drive to meet these requirements. For more info: support.microsoft.com/.../2418111
