Error code when trying to do xbox 360 live update.

G'day guys.

hope you can help with this problem.This is the first time i have had this type of problem

Xbox starts to download update.Then stops in the last 1/4 of the down load.

Error code 351F-3524-A080-1300-D000-0221

Have tried to put update on a disc.All that i got when unzipping was errors.Files with wrong names supposidly.

Thanks mate.

No joy.Before i read this i disconnected the power and removed the hard drive.Then got error code 351F-3524-1380-0908-C000-0032.Then did what you suggested and got 351F-3524-1380-0900-C000-0032.

This is all I could find about the C000 0032 eror code.

The update could not be downloaded from Xbox LIVE. Try the following:

  1. Try installing the update again.
  2. If you are having problems connecting or staying connected to Xbox LIVE, see troubleshooting Xbox LIVE connection issues.
Note You can also update your console software by copying the update to a USB flash drive or CD.

Still no joy.Have tried numerous times to intall update.So that ones out.Tried testing my xbox live connection and when it gets to testing to xbox live it takes me back to the update screen.Have also tried to put update on a DVD and on 2 computers one running XP and the laptop running windows 7 they have a problem opening the zip file.So it won't go any further.

Ok so where i'm upto now.Have disconnected the wirless and hard wired to the router.It starts to download,the green bar goes across slowly then goes back to the start.Then starts again.It does this a couple of times.Then i get another error code.3524-000-3080-0506-8B05-0018.Test internet connection.Yet my computer does not have a problem.

Hey OP, go ahead and try a USB drive, if possible, to complete that update. That may be the ticket here.

Ok it's all good now.Managed to do the update.With a USB drive.Only one difference than when i tried to do it with a CD.I made sure it was disconnected from the internet.Maybe some of you guys migh know why that would or if it did make a difference.Thanks for all the suggestions.
